Chema Cañas Hernández

Chema Cañas Hernández has held a number of roles in various companies since 2016. In 2016, they co-founded a sunglasses fashion brand based in Taiwan. Theirrole included creative thinking, factories-partners assessment and selection, and product development. In 2017, they worked as a Digital Sales & Marketing Consultant at Robert Walters, a multinational consultancy specialized in recruitment services. Theirtasks included searching, contacting, meeting and negotiating with potential clients. In 2018, they founded AIRUSI, a fashion brand, where they were responsible for end-to-end project management, including branding, marketing strategy, product & production, and online & offline sales strategies. Chema also led a team of two interns. In 2020, they were the Purchasing Manager & International Business Manager at Baby Friendly Companies/ Bebé de París, where their responsibilities included activation and monitoring of purchasing orders from national and international suppliers, selecting suppliers, and close supervision of the transportation and delivery process of the goods. Currently, they are the Purchasing & Logistics Manager at Muroexe since 2022.

Chema Cañas Hernández attended Providence University from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained a degree in Mandarin Chinese. Chema then continued their studies at Providence University from 2012 to 2017, where they obtained a degree in International Business.
