David Zaunbrecher

David Zaunbrecher, P.E., possesses extensive experience in deepwater drilling engineering and supervision, currently serving as a Deepwater Drilling Superintendent at Murphy Oil Corporation since October 2025. Previously, David held roles at notable companies including Breaker Engineering LLC, Hess Corporation, Beach Energy Ltd, and Devon Energy, contributing to significant projects such as the GoM Stampede Project and the Brazil Itaipu exploratory campaign. David's career began at Pennzoil Company, where a 22-year tenure culminated in the role of Country Manager in Venezuela. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
