Olasimbo Ogunde

Olasimbo Ogunde has extensive experience in engineering and project management within the oil and gas sector, currently serving as General Manager for Engineering at Murphy Oil Corporation since January 2011. Olasimbo's career at Murphy Oil has included roles as Sr. Manager and Production Manager for Western Hemisphere Offshore, as well as Facilities Manager for both Offshore Development and Projects and US Onshore. Prior to joining Murphy Oil, Olasimbo served as Vice President of Engineering and Project Manager at Specialty Process Equipment Corporation from August 2002 to December 2010. Olasimbo began a career in academia as a Research Assistant at Arkansas Tech University from 2001 to 2002. Olasimbo holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Arkansas Tech University, an MBA in Oil and Gas Project Management from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business, and is currently pursuing further education at Harvard Business School.
