Peter Ream

Peter Ream currently serves as the Head of Cybersecurity Operations at Murphy Oil Corporation since April 2024, overseeing SOC Operations and vulnerability management initiatives. Previously, Peter worked as a Cyber Security Analyst at NASA, where responsibilities included monitoring vital networks and systems to protect significant missions such as the James Webb Space Telescope. An academic background in Cyber Security and Information Assurance was established at Western Governors University, complemented by project management training from the University of Washington. Early career experiences include roles in project management, technical writing, and engineering program management across various organizations, demonstrating a breadth of expertise in both cybersecurity and operational leadership.
