Onshore Engineering Team Lead at Murphy Oil

Roberto Gonzalez, MSc, PMP has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Roberto started their career in 2004 as a Locomotive Field Service Supervisor at GE Transportation. Roberto then moved on to Oxy in 2006, where they held various roles such as Facilities Engineer, Project Engineer, and later becoming a Sr Facilities Engineer. In 2014, they joined Murphy Oil as a Sr. Project Engineer and worked there until 2016. Roberto then joined Valero Energy Corporation as a Project Manager. Currently, they are working at Murphy Oil Corporation as an Onshore Engineering Team Lead and also holds the position of Sr. Facilities Engineer.

Roberto Gonzalez, MSc, PMP has a strong educational background in mechanical engineering. Roberto obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Industrial de Santander, where they attended from 1994 to 2001. Roberto then pursued further education by completing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gannon University, which they obtained in 2003.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Roberto Gonzalez has also achieved the certification of Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute. Roberto obtained this certification in May 2017 and has since demonstrated their expertise in project management.
