Sarah Carr

Sarah Carr is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Onshore Completions & Interventions Team Lead at Murphy Oil Corporation since January 2014. Previously held positions include Senior Production Engineer and Sr. Completions Engineer, with extensive expertise in completions and workovers. Sarah began career development as an Associate Completions Engineer in the Eagle Ford Shale and gained valuable internship experience at Murphy Oil in both completion and drilling departments. Additionally, Sarah worked as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Alabama, aiding in Thermodynamics II. Earlier engineering internships were completed at Airbus Americas Engineering and ThyssenKrupp, where skills in data analysis and production documentation were developed. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama.
