Shea Wooley is an experienced Completions and Well Interventions Engineer currently with Murphy Oil, overseeing new well completions and interventions in the Gulf of Mexico since January 2017. Prior to that, Shea provided consulting services in the Permian Basin and Eagle Ford shale. With a background at BHP Billiton from June 2013 to March 2016, Shea led multidisciplinary teams to optimize completion designs in the Haynesville shale. Shea's career began at Halliburton Energy Services, where various roles included support for offshore completion campaigns in the North Sea and pioneering horizontal shale stimulations in China. Shea holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Texas at Arlington.
