Matthew Devaney

Matthew Devaney is a J.D. Candidate at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, expected to graduate in 2024. Currently serving as a Law Clerk at Murphy, Pearson, Bradley & Feeney since May 2023, Devaney previously held the position of Summer Law Clerk at Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck, LLP, where responsibilities included civil litigation, legal research, and legal writing. Prior to pursuing a legal career, Devaney gained extensive experience in business development and communications roles across several firms, including Fenwick & West and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, as well as in various capacities in the media and public relations sectors. Devaney earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011.
