Renee Bacon is the SVP, Sales & Operations at Murphy USA. Prior to their current position, they served as the National Vice President of Sales and Operations at Murphy USA from February 2018 to January 2019. From November 2016 to January 2018, they were the Vice President of Sales and Operations at Murphy USA. From November 2012 to October 2016, they were the Division Vice President, Store Operations at Dollar General, where they had direct P&L responsibility for over $3.0 billion in revenue and led 12 Region Directors and 2 indirect reports (Human Resources and Loss Prevention), 126 District Managers and over 2000 stores across 7 states. Renee also established the division's strategic direction, operating priorities, values and leadership culture. From March 2012 to October 2012, they served as Acting Division Vice-President, Store Operations at Dollar General. In this role, they had direct P&L responsibility for over $2.5 billion in revenue and led 10 Region Directors and 2 indirect reports (Human Resources and Loss Prevention), 116 District Managers and over 1600 stores across 5 states. Renee also established the division's strategic direction, operating priorities, values and leadership culture.

Renee Bacon earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. Renee then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Law from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.

They work with Mindy West - EVP, Fuels & Chief Financial Officer, John Moore - SVP & General Counsel, and Rob Chumley - SVP, Marketing. Renee Bacon reports to Andrew Clyde, President & CEO.
