Jerry Penner is the current CEO of Murray-Calloway County Hospital. Prior to their current position, Jerry served as the CEO of Madigan Healthcare System from August 2009 to March 2011. Madigan Healthcare System is a regional teaching hospital and level II trauma center with 5,500 staff members. Jerry was responsible for the overall leadership and goal setting for the hospital.

From June 2007 to July 2009, Jerry was the CEO of Fort Drum Healthcare System in Fort Drum, NY. Jerry oversaw a medical group practice with 154 providers and 38,000 covered lives. The annual operating budget was $47M. Jerry was also responsible for the 1,100 person healthcare organization that provided primary care, behavioral health, orthopedic, obstetrics and gynecology, and preventive medicine services to beneficiaries.

From January 2006 to May 2007, Jerry served as the COO of Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, KY.

Jerry Penner has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Murray State University, a Master's in Healthcare Administration from Baylor University, and a Master's in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. Jerry is certified by the American College of Healthcare Executives as a Board Certified Healthcare Executive (FACHE).
