Susan Madden is an experienced professional in the field of agricultural economics and natural resources, currently serving as an Authority Member at the Murray-Darling Basin Authority since March 2016 and as a Principal Economist for Natural Resources and Agriculture at GHD since December 2015. In addition to these roles, Susan is actively involved with the Central West Local Land Services, holding multiple positions such as Chair of the Culture, Productivity & Commercial Performance Committee, Member of the Audit, Compliance & Governance Committee, and Board Member. Previously, Susan held the role of Executive Officer at Macquarie River Food & Fibre from April 2009 to January 2016, and has also worked as Coordinator of the Native Vegetation Assistance Package at the Central West Catchment Management Authority. Early career experience includes working as an Agricultural & Resource Economist at Hassall & Associates. Susan holds a degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Sydney.
