Marcelo Goyanes is a founding partner at Murta Goyanes, a position held since November 2008. With extensive experience in the field of intellectual property law, Marcelo served as a lecturer in the Intellectual Property Law Postgraduate Program at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro from 2003 to 2017 and was the Attorney General of ABAPI from 2008 to 2016. Prior to these roles, Marcelo was an income partner at Veirano Advogados from 1996 to 2008 and completed an internship as an international legal consultant at the Smithsonian Institution in 2003. Marcelo holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and an IP Diploma from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, as well as a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Intellectual Property from The George Washington University.
