Sam Vacha MSW, LSW is an experienced social worker with a strong background in youth advocacy and clinical social work. Currently serving as a Residential Counselor at Cleveland Christian Home since February 2018, Vacha has also been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Murtis Taylor Human Services System since June 2015 and a Treatment Coordinator at the National Youth Advocate Program since 2014, focusing on services for youth in foster care, including diagnostic assessments. Previously, Vacha worked as a Treatment Specialist at Ohio Guidestone, helping clients achieve potential through therapeutic intervention and independent living skills. Vacha holds a Master of Social Work degree from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the same institution, with earlier education from the University of Mount Union.

Murtis Taylor Human Services System is a county-wide United Way charitable organization that provides Community Mental Health, Alcohol and other addiction services, Youth, Family, and Senior services. It serves more than 11,000 children and adults annually. Youth and Family Services are provided in the Garden Valley, East Cleveland and Mt. Pleasant communities. Senior Services are provided in the Mt. Pleasant community. These include a broad range of culturally appropriate and diverse community services and programs. Community Mental Health services, which are clinical in nature, are provided countywide. These include a culturally appropriate and comprehensive array of outpatient and residential treatment. Murtis Taylor Human Services System is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services as a Three (3)-Star Rated Step Up to Quality childcare center, the Ohio Department of Mental Health, Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services and nationally accredited by The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
