Tamer El-Guindy has a diverse range of work experience in the fitness industry. Tamer started their career as the CEO and President of Musclecontest, the largest fitness production company in the world. In this role, they managed all aspects of operation and finance, and successfully designed and launched sales and marketing activities to drive revenue and growth.
In 1996, Tamer joined Gold's Gym and held various positions including General Manager, Personal Training Manager, and Assistant General Manager. Tamer was responsible for hiring and training staff, overseeing marketing operations, and managing the personal training department, which generated over $1 million in annual revenue.
Tamer also gained extensive international experience during their time at Gold's Gym, serving as the Director of International Franchising Sales & Operations. Tamer expanded the brand into 30 international countries, managed accounting and financial statements, and developed marketing entry strategies.
Additionally, Tamer held the position of Chairman of Southern California at the National Physique Committee and served as the Editor-in-Chief of Muscle&Fitness Philippines.
In 2015, Tamer joined UFC GYM as the Senior Vice President of Global Franchising and the Head of UFC Gym University. In these roles, they were responsible for domestic and international operations, support, expansion of the brand, as well as training and development of franchise and corporate employees.
Throughout their career, Tamer has consistently demonstrated their expertise in operations, finance, sales, marketing, and international expansion in the fitness industry.
Tamer El-Guindy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in International Business from Chapman University. Tamer also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from the same university.
