Iñigo San Millán has worked in a variety of roles in the medical and sports industries. In 2008, they began working as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. In 2010, they co-founded MuscleSound, a company which eventually failed due to investors. In 2015, they co-founded the CU Sports Medicine and Performance Center. In 2019, they began working as an Associate Research Professor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and as the Director of Performance for Team UAE Emirates Cycling Team.
Iñigo San Millán obtained their degree in Health and Exercise Science-Sports Medicine from Colorado State University. Iñigo then went on to pursue a Doctorate in School of Medicine from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. Finally, they completed the High Impact Cancer Research Program at Harvard Medical School.
