Barry Byrne

Barry Byrne serves as the Director of the Powell Gene Therapy Center and holds the title of Professor at the University of Florida. Previously, Barry Byrne was the Chief Medical Advisor for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and founded AavantiBio, Inc. Additionally, Barry Byrne held the position of Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University. Barry Byrne earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Denison University and attended Lake Forest High School.
