Dreama Whitlock

Dreama Whitlock has a strong background in volunteer work and advocacy for individuals with muscular dystrophy. In 2011, they founded "Grandparents of DMD Boys and Girls support the Cure!" to provide support and knowledge to grandparents of children with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy. In the same year, they became a volunteer for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and started "Rileys.World.DMD," a support page for their grandson with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. In 2012, Dreama founded "Halos for Muscular Dystrophy," an all-volunteer organization dedicated to awareness, education, and support for families living with muscular dystrophies. Dreama also organized the "Dance for Duchenne" event to raise funds for research through Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy. Dreama has continued to volunteer for CureDuchenne and remains dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those affected by muscular dystrophy.

Dreama Whitlock attended Career Academy from 1996 to 1997, where they obtained a degree in Medical/Clinical Assistant, specializing as a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant Specialist. From 1994 to 1996, they attended Marshall University and earned a degree in office technology, focusing on Medical Office Management/Administration. In July 1998, they obtained an additional certification as a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant.
