Trailblazer, National Ambassador Volunteer at Muscular Dystrophy UK

Laura Merry is an experienced professional with a strong background in education, community service, and volunteer engagement. Currently serving as the After School Club Supervisor at Buckinghamshire CoE Primary School since October 2015, Laura also contributes as a Correspondent and Editor volunteer for Bernwode News, collaborating with multiple villages to create and compile articles for a parish magazine. A dedicated supporter of youth organizations, Laura has volunteered with the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, assisting Rainbows and Brownies, and serves as a National Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign where Laura helped establish the Trailblazers Young Campaigners Network. Additional volunteer roles include Fundraising Assistant at Helen & Douglas House, where fundraising ideas are researched and donor databases updated, and participation in various initiatives for the British Red Cross and local community development. Laura holds a degree in Human Rights and Journalism from the University of Roehampton.
