Sheonad Macfarlane is a seasoned healthcare professional currently serving as a Specialty Doctor at The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice since June 2019, with previous experience as a Specialty Doctor and EMIS Clinical Lead at Marie Curie UK until January 2018. Sheonad also holds roles as an Appraiser at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde since March 2017 and an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow since March 2016. Leadership experience includes serving as Chairperson and Trustee of Muscular Dystrophy UK since October 2013. Sheonad contributed to the Imagining Futures Project as a member of the Expert Panel while at the University of Warwick from October 2013 to October 2016. Earlier career highlights include being a GP Partner at NHS Ayrshire & Arran and providing out-of-hours sessional work for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Sheonad's educational background includes a Master's degree in Palliative Medicine from Cardiff University and a B.Sc Med Sci, MB ChB from the University of Aberdeen.
