Jeff Sparks

Jeff Sparks is an experienced leader in volunteer engagement and human resources, currently serving as the Director of Volunteer Engagement and Human Resources at Muscular Dystrophy Canada since August 2005. In this senior management role, Jeff is responsible for strategic direction in volunteer recruitment, retention, and motivation, while also managing the Human Resources portfolio in collaboration with the VP Talent. Previously, Jeff held the position of National Director of Volunteer Engagement and Organizational Development, overseeing stakeholder engagement and working with the Chief Executive Officer. Jeff's earlier roles include President of Profiles Global/Kaleidoscope Management Solutions, Graduate Employment Coordinator at NBCC Saint John, Lecturer in Human Resources at the University of New Brunswick, and various roles in recruitment and HR management at xwave and Accenture. Jeff holds a Master of Industrial Relations from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick.
