Howard Tsao has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2000. Howard began their career at Broadmedia as a Product Marketing Analyst, where they conducted competitor and market research, product demos and testing, and created marketing collaterals. In 2001, they moved to ITEX, where they were a Product Manager, responsible for product and customer relationship management, product feature and roadmap definition, and product pitch and collateral creation. In 2002, they joined NuTool as a Product Marketing Manager, managing product, project, and customer management, product planning, and supplier management. From 2006 to 2009, they were the CEO of Social Sauce, an angel-backed travel community site focused on documentation and information sharing, which was featured on PCMag and Mashable. Lastly, they were the CEO of Muse Games from 2009 to present.
Howard Tsao obtained their MBA in Marketing from the NYU Stern School of Business between 2004 and 2006. Prior to that, they earned a BA in History and Asian Studies from the University of California, Berkeley between 1996 and 1999.
