Ethan Gui has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ethan began their career as a Teaching Assistant at Stony Brook University in 2007 before moving on to work as a Research Assistant at the Programming Languages and Theory Laboratory (SPLAT Lab) from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they joined Glass Capital Research Inc. as a Partner and Director of Research and Implementation. Later that year, they ventured into the finance industry and served as a Risk Analyst Intern at J.P. Morgan from December 2009 to May 2010.
In 2010, Ethan co-founded uni-U, Inc., where they held the position of CEO until August 2012. Ethan then became a co-founder and Head of Engineering at Musely, a position they held until February 2020. Ethan subsequently transitioned within the company to assume the role of Vice President of Technology.
