Maia Vargas

Maia Vargas is a highly experienced professional in the fields of art and communication, currently serving as a postdoctoral fellow at CONICET and a professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the University of Buenos Aires since July 2022. In addition, Maia has been an assistant researcher at the Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires since October 2021 and a journalist focusing on contemporary art for El Flasherito since October 2017. Previously, Maia held various educational roles, including doctoral fellow at CONICET Dialoga and professor of Communication and Media. Maia's educational background includes a doctorate in Latin American contemporary art from the National University of La Plata, alongside qualifications in communication sciences and curatorial studies.
