Angel Ponce

Angel Ponce is a dedicated arts advocate and teaching artist currently associated with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art since June 2022. In June 2023, Angel took on the role of Arts Associate with the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, where a significant achievement includes increasing social media following by nearly 10,000 individuals through engaging content. Previous experience includes interning with LA Commons to support neighborhood storytelling programs, serving as a Residential Assistant for the Educational Opportunity Program at UCSB, and advocating for food security among students through the UCSB Geography Department. Angel's background also encompasses social media management at Las Maestras Center and participation in various roles emphasizing community engagement and social justice, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Art from UC Santa Barbara.
