Austyn de Lugo has a diverse work experience history. They began their career at Disneyland Resort in 2008 as an Attractions Host, a position they held until 2012. From 2007 to 2012, Austyn also worked at Hilton Hotels Worldwide as a Valet/Bellman. In 2013, they worked as a Ranch Hand at Catalyst Ranch until 2015. Austyn's artistic pursuits began in 2010 when they started their own company, Austyn de Lugo Art, where they work as an artist. They also gained experience in the art world by working as a Performance Art Assistant at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) starting in 2016.

Austyn de Lugo began their education by earning a High School Diploma in College Prep from Loften High School in 2007. Afterwards, they attended Fullerton College from 2010 to 2012, studying Painting.
