Jarid Sumner

Jarid Sumner is an experienced professional in the fields of facilities management and production, currently serving as the Director of Building Maintenance & Engineering at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art since May 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Facilities and Site Manager at ABL Space Systems, Production Manager at The ATS Team, and various production-related positions from September 2018 to May 2021. Jarid has held production management roles at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival and Aurora Productions, as well as serving as Technical Director for the American Ballet Theatre. Additional experience includes work as a Draftsman at I Weiss & Sons and internships at Tech Production Services and McLaren Engineering Group. Jarid holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Direction from Purchase College, SUNY.
