Kamila Marta Korbela has a diverse work experience in the field of art conservation, with a focus on paintings and sculptures. Kamila Marta is the Founder of LA Art Labs since 2018, where they also serve as a Conservator of Paintings and Sculptures. Prior to this, from 2015 to 2018, they worked at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) as an Ahmanson Paintings Conservator and a Research Scholar (currently fundraising).

Before joining LACMA, Kamila worked at the Balboa Art Conservation Center as a Conservator of Paintings and Sculptures from 2013 to 2014. Kamila Marta also worked as a Conservator of Paintings at SMK – Statens Museum for Kunst from 2011 to 2013 and at Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, Swiss Government, Wallraf-Richartz-Museum & Fondation Corboud, and Universalmuseum Joanneum in various roles as a Conservator of Paintings from 2010 to 2011.

Overall, Kamila Marta Korbela has a strong background in art conservation and has worked in prestigious institutions such as LACMA and SMK.

Kamila Marta Korbela attended Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart from 2006 to 2013, where they pursued a degree in Painting and Sculpture Conservation. Kamila Marta obtained a Dipl. Rest. (equivalent to the American Master Degree) in this field. In July 2018, Kamila Marta Korbela also obtained the certification of Professional Associate from the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works.
