Kelly Kawata

Kelly Kawata has an extensive work experience in event management and coordination. They have worked at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) from January 2017 to the present, starting as a Special Events Manager and progressing to Senior Director of Events. Prior to LACMA, Kelly worked at the Japanese American National Museum as an Event & Marketing Coordinator, Event & Marketing Supervisor, and Event & Operations Manager from March 2011 to January 2017. They also worked as a Contributing Editor to National TV, Pop Culture, and Style at Metromix from June 2010 to February 2012, and as a Freelance Writer for National TV & Pop Culture at Metromix from June 2008 to September 2008.

Kelly Kawata holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Management from UC Irvine.
