Maria Isabel Ramos, Ph.D has a diverse work experience in the field of education and art. Maria Isabel started their career in 2013 as a Visiting Lecturer at the Zacatecas State School of Conservation and Restoration. In 2015, they joined the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) as an Education Coordinator and later transitioned to the role of Museum Educator. In 2020, they became the Manager of School and Education Community Programs at LACMA.
In 2016, Maria worked as a Teaching Artist at artworxLA (formerly The HeArt Project), where they utilized their artistic skills to engage students in creative learning. Maria Isabel also gained teaching experience as a Professor of Art History at FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising from 2015 to 2016.
