Miranda Dunn has a diverse work experience in the field of art conservation. Miranda started their career as a volunteer at the National Gallery of Art and later worked as a conservation intern at the Baltimore Museum of Art. At the museum, they were responsible for general maintenance activities and supervised the examination and treatment of paintings by notable artists. Miranda also worked as an outdoor sculpture technician, assisting in the maintenance of the museum's outdoor sculpture collection.
Miranda then pursued their education in art conservation, becoming a graduate fellow at the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program. From 2006 to 2010, they attended Southern Methodist University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art History, Criticism and Conservation.
In 2010-2011, they studied Chemistry at Towson University.
The next year, in 2011-2012, they attended Loyola University Maryland with a focus on Organic Chemistry, but did not obtain a degree.
From 2013 to 2016, they pursued a Masters of Science in Art Conservation at the University of Delaware.
In 2013, they also took Continuing Studies in Fine/Studio Arts, General at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
