Veridiana Pontes

Veridiana Pontes is an accomplished leader in the arts and cultural sector, currently serving as Vice President of Individual Giving, Corporate and Foundation Relations, and Development Operations at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) since January 2025. Prior to this role, Veridiana held the position of Managing Director of Development at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art and served as Chief Development Officer at the Hammer Museum, where responsibilities included the design and execution of annual fundraising programs aimed at individual donors. Earlier experience includes roles at UCLA as Director of Development and at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), where Veridiana advanced from Donors Program Manager to Co-Director of Development and then Director of Development, contributing significantly to the museum's strategic fundraising initiatives. Veridiana holds a BA in Industrial and Product Design from FAAP and an MA in Museum Studies from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
