Johannes Vogel serves as the Director General of the Museum für Naturkunde since February 2012 and holds multiple prestigious positions including Trustee at the Falling Walls Foundation, President of the European Citizen Science Association, Vice Chair of the Leibniz Biodiversity Network, and Deputy Chair of the German Bioeconomy Council. They comprise over 30 million items covering zoology palaeontology, geology and mineralogy and are of highest scientific and historical importance.
