Victoria Shennan is the Deputy Head of the Berlin School of Public Engagement and Open Science. Victoria has a background in experience design, having worked as a freelance Experience Designer at Victoria Shennan Design. Victoria has also held roles as a Citizen Science Programme Coordinator at the Natural History Museum and as a Learning Programme Developer at the Royal College of Art. With a degree in Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork & Jewellery from the Royal College of Art, Victoria brings a unique interdisciplinary approach to their work in public engagement and science communication.

Over 700,000 visitors per year, as well as steadily increasing participation in educational and other events show that we have become an innovative communication centre that helps shape the scientific and social dialogue about the future of our earth – worldwide. Alongside knowledge transfer, research and our collections are the main pillars of the museum’s work. Our collections are a unique cultural asset and inextricably linked to our research. They comprise over 30 million items covering zoology palaeontology, geology and mineralogy and are of highest scientific and historical importance.
