Museum Odense
Sissel Bjerrum Fossat is an experienced museumsinspektør at Museum Odense since January 2019, focusing on urban history of the 20th and 21st centuries. Prior to this role, Sissel worked as a researcher at Odense Bys Museer from September 2016 to December 2018. Academic contributions include part-time lecturing at the University of Southern Denmark between 2007 and 2016, as well as postdoctoral and PhD fellowship work, with a dissertation centered on Danish study trips to the USA during the Marshall Plan. Sissel holds an MA in Contemporary History from Syddansk Universitet, alongside educational experiences in Argentina and Germany.

Desuden forvalter Museum Odense det arkæologiske ansvar for Odense, Nordfyns, Middelfart og Assens kommuner.
