Kristi Widgery

Kristi Widgery is an experienced professional in event planning and management, currently serving as the Director of Event Experience at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago since July 2013. In this role, Kristi develops and implements strategies to enhance private rental event revenue through effective marketing, budgeting, and collaboration with the internal production department. Prior to this position, Kristi held various roles within the Museum of Contemporary Art, including Rental Events Consultant, Associate Director of Rental Events, Assistant Director of Rental Events, Manager of Rental Events, Rental Coordinator, and Special Events Assistant, demonstrating a strong commitment to maximizing revenue and elevating the overall event experience. Kristi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine and Studio Arts from Principia College, completed in 1995.
