Liz Ensz is an accomplished professional in the fields of sculpture and fiber studies, currently serving as a Lecturer in Sculpture and Fiber & Material Studies at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago since January 2014. Liz also holds the position of Preparator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago since March 2014 and has been involved with The Visitor Center Artist Camp as Associate Director, Communications Coordinator, and Instructor since October 2013. Previous experience includes being a Preparator at The Arts Club of Chicago and the Maryland Institute College of Art, as well as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Sculpture Studio Assistant for Tom Sachs. Liz earned a Master of Fine Arts in Fiber and Material Studies/Sculpture from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fiber from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
