Jova Lynne

Jova Lynne currently serves as Co-Director and Artistic Director at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit since June 2023. Previously, Jova held the position of Director at Temple Contemporary, Tyler School of Art and Architecture from February 2022 to April 2023, and served as Susanne Feld Hilberry Senior Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit from December 2017 to February 2022, where Jova was also a Ford Foundation Curatorial Fellow. Earlier roles include Youth Arts Manager and Program Assistant at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Teaching Artist at Oakland Leaf, and Program Director at Youth Action Coalition. Jova has academic credentials including a Master's degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a B.A. in Installation Art, History, Education, and Black Studies from Hampshire College.
