April Farrell has a diverse work experience in the art and telecommunications industries. April started their career in 1999 as a Project Manager at RTP Group. April then worked as an Office Manager at BT Ignite Solutions from 2001 to 2002 before becoming the Executive Assistant to the Director at Whitney Museum of American Art from 2002 to 2004. April continued their career at Museum of Arts and Design as the Associate Director of Development, Membership and Events from 2005 to 2012. At Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, they held various roles including Senior Membership and Annual Giving Manager from 2012 to 2021, Director of Rentals and Retail from 2021 to present, and recently assumed the position of Director of Earned Revenue in 2022. April Farrell's work experience demonstrates their expertise in management, development, and revenue generation within the arts sector.

April Farrell attended Pepperdine University from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International and Intercultural Communication.
