Sean Ward

Sean Ward has extensive experience in art preparation and installation, currently serving as a Preparator at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego since January 2015. Previously, Sean worked as an Art Preparator at The San Diego Museum of Art from July 2010 to July 2014, where responsibilities included the installation of both two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks, as well as building custom display cases. Prior to that role, Sean was the Lead Preparator at Artworks San Diego from August 2007 to November 2009, overseeing the installation, transportation, and storage of artwork across Southern California. Sean's career began as an Art Preparator and Registrar at Quint Contemporary Art from January 2005 to July 2007. Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from San Diego State University and an Associate of Arts in Graphic Design from Santa Rosa Junior College.
