Dana Riley Black

Vice President of Education at Museum of Flight

Dana Riley Black is the Vice President of Education at the Museum of Flight. Prior to their current position, they served as a Board Member for the Northwest Association for Biomedical Research (NWABR) from January 2012 to January 2014. From January 2005 to December 2016, they were the Director of the Logan Center for Education at the Institute for Systems Biology, where they oversaw a staff of professional science educators who develop, coordinate and facilitate local and statewide professional development for K-12 and undergraduate science educators and administrators. Dana has also served as a Board Member for Washington FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) from December 2014 to September 2017.

Dana Riley Black holds a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership and Curriculum Studies from Miami University, a Masters of Education (M.Ed.) in Science Education from Miami University, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from the University of Washington.
