Madeleine Roodberg

Madeleine Roodberg has a diverse work experience. Madeleine is currently working as a Marketing Producer at the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, where they support the Marketing and Communications department in developing and implementing communications and marketing strategies. Madeleine manages and optimizes the museum's websites and email marketing, produces print and electronic materials, assists with media relations, and facilitates the production of video materials.

Prior to their current role, Madeleine worked as an Education Program Coordinator at City Lore Inc from September 2019 to October 2022. In this position, they were responsible for coordinating, researching, and observing arts education programming in New York City. Madeleine also created and managed digital content, including project websites and video lessons.

Before that, they gained experience as an Education Intern at UrbanGlass from March 2019 to June 2019, where they assisted with research, preparation work, and inventory for workshops. Madeleine also handled event preparation, created flyers, and performed other daily tasks.

Madeleine also worked as a Teaching Assistant at The Lower Eastside Girls Club of New York from January 2019 to May 2019. Additionally, Madeleine co-founded a non-profit organization called Reboot Reuse Rebuild in 2012. The organization's mission was to collect computer systems in good working order, refurbish them, and donate them to non-profit learning centers serving at-risk youth in the DC area. Madeleine was responsible for collecting and installing systems, as well as producing photo and video content.

Madeleine has also gained various internship experiences. Madeleine worked as an intern for Amir Baradaran, a new media artist, where they designed and created interactive AR/VR storytelling experiences using Unity and Blender. Madeleine also created the artist's online website using XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Madeleine interned at Fort Gansevoort Gallery and Vox Media, Inc., where they worked on tasks such as editing visual media and creating headers for articles.

In 2017, Madeleine worked as a counselor at Hidden Valley Camp, where they designed and led classes in video, guitar, darkroom photography, and acting. Madeleine also took care of a cabin of approximately 20 campers. Madeleine'sperformance was recognized as outstanding.

In 2015, they interned at Jammin Java, and in 2016, they interned at Vox Media, Inc., where they researched and wrote news pieces and created interactive media for the brand Curbed, which focuses on architecture and design.
