Museum of Life and Science
David Knudsen is an experienced professional in educational program development and science communication, currently serving as an Associate Program Manager at the Museum of Life and Science since May 2019. In this role, David manages educational programs, conducts evaluations, and creates digital media content, including videography and photography. Previous experience includes positions as an Innovation and Learning Fellow and Assistant Site Director, where David supported summer camp programs and facilitated technology-based learning. Earlier roles at North Carolina State University involved researching and managing a departmental newsletter, and David's background also includes multiple positions at the Museum of Life and Science, ranging from educator to guest relations. David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government and a minor in Journalism from North Carolina State University.

The Museum of Life and Science is one of North Carolina’s top attractions. Situated on 84-acres, our interactive science park includes a science center, a butterfly conservatory which is one of the largest in the world and beautifully-landscaped outdoor exhibits which are safe havens for rescued black bears, lemurs, and endangered red wolves.
