Kirsty Cox is a seasoned professional in digital and collections information systems, currently serving as the Manager of Digital & Collections Information Systems at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa since March 2020. In this role, Kirsty manages Te Papa’s collections information and digital asset management systems, ensuring their effective operation and development. Prior to this, Kirsty held various roles at the National Library of New Zealand from 2006 to 2020, including EMu Administrator and Research Librarian, where responsibilities encompassed the management of unpublished collections and digital materials. Kirsty's career began at Auckland City Libraries and includes significant experience in records management and reference services. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Library and Information Studies from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Auckland.
