Theresa Brockett

Theresa Brockett is an accomplished development professional currently serving as the Director of Development at the Museum of the African Diaspora since April 2025, where responsibilities include leading fundraising strategy and enhancing donor engagement. Prior to this role, Theresa was the Associate Director of Inorganic Growth at IEQ Capital from January 2024 to May 2025, focusing on recruitment of new advisors and acquisitions of registered investment advisors (RIAs). Theresa's earlier experience includes various roles in mergers and acquisitions at Focus Financial Partners from July 2017 to January 2024, along with positions as a Digital Studio Assistant at Milk in 2016 and a Marketing Intern at the Museum of the Moving Image in 2015. Theresa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Studio Art from Mount Holyoke College, earned in 2015.
