Nicola Jennings

Nicola Jennings is a seasoned museum professional with extensive experience in curatorial and collection management roles across various institutions. Currently serving as the Senior Curator of Technology at the Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT) since October 2019, Nicola specializes in sourcing and researching new acquisitions while enhancing the documentation of Technology collections. Previous positions include Project Senior Collection Manager at Auckland War Memorial Museum, where Nicola improved operational policies, and as Senior Collection Manager of Human History at Auckland Museum, managing collection systems and a team of nine during organizational changes. Earlier roles include Curator and Team Leader of Art at Te Manawa Museum and various positions at Auckland War Memorial Museum, including Assistant Registrar. Nicola holds a Master of Arts in Art Gallery and Museum Studies and a Diploma in Law and Collections Management, among other qualifications.
