Richard Pilkington

Richard Pilkington has a diverse range of work experience in various technical roles. Richard started their career at Affiliated Consultants as an IT Support Analyst from an unspecified start date until 2012. Richard then joined SKYRANCH MEDIA GROUP as a Visual Effects Artist from February 2012 to June 2013 and later became an Art Director & 3D Generalist from April 2012 to July 2013. After that, they worked at Nextt Group, where they served as a Full Stack Designer from December 2014 to June 2016 and as a Digital Analyst/ Applications Administration Manager from June 2016 to March 2017. Currently, Richard is associated with Museums Victoria as a Systems Administrator Multimedia since October 2017 and as a Technical Project Lead from November 2021.

Richard Pilkington attended The University of Auckland in 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Anthropology & computer science. Richard also studied at the media design school Auckland from 1999 to 2000, earning a Diploma of Interactive Design in Design and Visual Communications. In 1997 and 1998, Richard attended Unitec | Te Pūkenga and obtained a Bachelor of Design degree. Richard'seducation started at Sacred Heart College from 1987 to 1994.
