Daniela Candillari is a distinguished conductor with extensive experience in prestigious opera companies. Currently serving as Principal Conductor at the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis and Principal Opera Conductor at the Music Academy, Daniela has held conducting roles at notable institutions including Deutsche Oper Berlin, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and the Metropolitan Opera. Daniela's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Musicology from Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien, a Master’s degree in Jazz Studies from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Master of Arts in Piano Performance from Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz.
