Music Academy
Maureen Zoltek is an accomplished music professional currently serving as the Head of Music Staff and Music Director for the Sarah & Ernest Butler HGO Studio at Houston Grand Opera since September 2022. Zoltek has been a Vocal Institute Faculty member at the Music Academy of the West since June 2018. Previously, Zoltek held the position of Assistant Conductor at San Francisco Opera from May 2013 to August 2022, and served as Vocal Coach Faculty at San Francisco Conservatory of Music from September 2016 to May 2022. Additional experience includes roles at Opera Omaha and Opera San José, along with positions as Assistant Conductor for the Canadian Opera Company and Lyric Opera of Chicago. Zoltek also contributed to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra as a substitute keyboardist. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Accompanying from Manhattan School of Music, and a Master of Music in Musicology and Piano Performance from Roosevelt University, along with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from DePaul University.

Music Academy is a performance-based training center and incubator that empowers musicians to positively impact society.
