Nicholas Walls

Nicholas Walls currently serves as the Chief Advancement Officer at the Music Academy of the West since March 2025. Prior to this role, Nicholas held various positions at the Seattle Symphony, including Senior Director of Philanthropy and Director of Major and Principal Gifts from March 2021 to March 2025. Nicholas also worked at The Philadelphia Orchestra as Director of Major Gifts from February 2018 to March 2021 and returned to the Seattle Symphony as a Major Gift Officer and Gift Officer from August 2015 to January 2018. Additional experience includes roles at Seattle Opera, Metropolitan Opera Guild, and ensemble mise-en, showcasing a strong background in development and philanthropy within the arts sector. Nicholas's educational qualifications include a Master's of Music in French Horn from Mannes The New School For Music and a Bachelor's of Music in French Horn from UC Santa Barbara.
