Susanne Docherty

Susanne Docherty is an experienced leader in the cultural and creative sectors, currently serving as Diretør for both Music Gateway and Dansk Musiker Forbund since 2023. Prior roles include Partner at HELLES & DOCHERTY, focusing on sustainable urban development, and Centerchef for Kultur, Turisme, Idræt og Medborgerskab at Helsingør Kommune, overseeing 350 employees and multiple cultural initiatives. Susanne also served as Udviklingschef for Dansk Live, Chef for Kultur og Fritid at Slagelse Kommune, and held directorial positions at Huset i Magstræde and Culture House in Copenhagen, where significant organizational transformations were achieved. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from Copenhagen Business School and a cand.mag in Æstetik og kultur from Aarhus University.
